150 COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 150 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 57,668 and 1,291 total fatalities. 

 

Of today’s 150 new cases, 42 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 37 years old.

 

Today’s cases are involving residents living in the following municipalities:

“We are seeing more cases reported in patients under 18 years old. We must all do our part to protect those around us,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “If you haven’t done so already, please get vaccinated now.”

To date, 350,441 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 307,260 are fully vaccinated and 15,345 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
