(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 128 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 58,503 and 1,296 total fatalities.
Of today’s 128 new cases, 40 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 32 years old.

“This week, we have averaged 92 new COVID-19 cases reported per day. This pandemic is far from over,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “If you haven’t done so already, please get vaccinated now.”
To date, 359,500 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 309,828 are fully vaccinated and 21,569 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
