Traveling Planetarium Visits Bellmawr Branch Library May 16

(Voorhees, NJ) – The Bellmawr branch of the Camden County Library System will host the Dome Theater, a portable HD planetarium. Visitors to this unique theater will be surrounded with stunning visuals and out-of-this-world knowledge.

“We invite your family to the Bellmawr branch library to take an incredible journey through the solar system,” said Freeholder Bill Moen, liaison to the Camden County Library System. “This is an incredible opportunity to learn about space and have fun along the way.”

Traveling all over the nation, the interactive facility features highly innovative, educational and entertaining programs. In addition to spectacular graphics, the Dome features award-winning narrators including Tom Hanks, Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford and Walter Cronkite.

Developed by Rice University and the Houston Museum of natural Science with the support of NASA, the Dome Theater is 16’ by 16’ wide, reaches 10 feet high and can hold between 35 and 55 guests, depending upon their age.
