2007 Best of Class

KUDOS TO THE “BEST!”
A total of 188 students considered unsung heroes have been honored as members
of the 2007 Best of Class by the Camden County freeholders.

The students received their Best of Class awards after having been having been selected by teachers and other staff
at the 33 high schools represented in the following categories: community service, leadership, best overall,
most improved, most courageous and performing arts.

“The honorees are chosen by their schools for taking pride in academic achievement rather than in athletics or popularity contests,”
said Freeholder Jeffrey L. Nash, who served as MC for the May 9 awards dinner at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin
attended by family members of the honorees.

“Special consideration is given to those students who strive to improve themselves while helping others in the process.
They are truly the best of the class,” Nash added.
