disABILTIES and Special Needs Programs

The Camden County Division of Programming for Individuals with disABILITIES and Special Needs offers a wide range of activities and programs throughout the year. Most programs are free to attend, but registration is required. Activities include:

Camp Sunny Side / Summer Evening Workshop

Camp Sunny Side, “ on campus” is a state certified  day camp  for individuals, 13 years of age and older.  Each day we provide a wide variety of activities that includes, art, music ,fitness and sports, computer learning and social skills, just to name a few.  Camp is close to home and is located at the Camden County College in Blackwood.  

Camp begins June 24, 2019 and ends July 26, 2019 – Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $75 per week.

Transportation is available from Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Magnolia & Gloucester Twp.

Summer Evening Workshops

The Summer Evening Workshop is for adults 18 years of age or older. Those who have job responsibilities during the day can now join in the fun, weeknights, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting July 2nd and continuing until July 25th. Each evening will offer a variety of recreational and educational activities. There is a minimal fee of $15 per week, per person. Transportation is available. Bus will depart from Haddon Lake Park in Mount Ephraim. Call (856) 216-2121 for further details.  Workshops are located at Madison Hall at Camden County College

  • Week 1: JULY 2, 3
  • Week 2: JULY 9, 10, 11
  • Week 3: JULY 16, 17, 18
  • Week 4: JULY 23, 24, 25
