Camden County Public Safety Warns Against Fake 911 Calls
The Camden County Department of Public Safety warns residents against fake 911 operators calling residences asking personal information.

“Our 911 call takers do not call out,” said Freeholder Rodney A. Greco, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Safety. “We have learned of incidents in other states where individuals identifying themselves as 911 operators have called homes to acquire personal information from the residents. We believe these individuals were attempting to commit identity theft.”
