(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by PSE&G that new poles are being installed on Hood Avenue in Audubon. To accommodate the upgrade, a detour will be in place on Hood Avenue from Cuthbert Boulevard to Graisbury Avenue between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

“I urge motorists to stay alert and exercise caution when driving through this section of Hood Avenue during this utility construction, and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination” Shin Angulo said. “Whenever you are driving through a construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes and cognizant of personnel near the roadway.”

Camden County is aggressive about repairing all county maintained roads. The Freeholder Board asks residents to report road hazards they encounter to the Camden County Public Works Hotline (856) 566-2980.  The number is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
