Camden County Board of Freeholders in conjunction with Playdrome Bowling and Entertainment Centers presents:
A FREE day of billiards for Camden County seniors on Thursday, April 30th from noon to 2pm. Playdrome Staff will be on hand to help with instructions and any questions you might have.
Your day will include:
• Complimentary coffee and doughnuts
• Instructional coaching for 1st timers
• A complimentary all beef hot dog, bag of chips and a soft-drink

Spring Fling Senior Dance

Come as you are and use some of your time to maintain your health and revitalize your body’s systems. Tai chi develops a union connecting body, mind and spirit - in essence it’s a whole body tune-up. Chairs are available and the class can be taken standing, sitting or a combination of both.

Jubilation Creations®, Inc., is a Non-Profit organization that is dedicated to
bringing the "joy of creativity without limits" to the senior citizen community of
Camden County. For 4 sessions this spring, the Board of Freeholders will sponsor
classes with Jubilation Creations.
Starting on March 19th, you will spend one hour making a different project that
you will finish and take home. Class times are 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and will
begin promptly! By creating these special items, you will bring your creative spirit
to light so come and enjoy yourself with us!
Below is the schedule of each class date, and the project that will be made on that
day. Please note that the project listed for that day will be the only project done
on that day. Everyone attending that class will make the same craft item, but you
will be able to pick the craft supplies you want to use for your project.
As seating is limited and is on a first come, first served basis, please RSVP by
3/19: HARDWARE JEWELRY: Take a big metal washer, some acrylic paints and glue-on embellishments, satin cord and a few beads...and you have yourself a great looking necklace to wear home or to give as a gift.
03/26: RECYCLED PEN EARRINGS: The ultimate fun in recycled jewelry! We’ll take an
inch or two of cut-up Bic pen barrels and show you how to paint and decorate them with
wire and beads! Make a stunning pair of earrings or a single pendant necklace.
04/16: EMBELLISHED BASKET: We’ll give you a small, plain basket, some paint, ribbon and glue-ons and you’ll turn it into a lovely jewelry or key-keeper that will fit on even thesmallest of table tops!
04/23: DECORATED FLOWER POT: Take an ordinary flower pot and decorate it to your
heart’s content! We’ll throw in the dirt and your choice of a plant cutting as well! The
perfect project to help you realize that Spring will soon be on it’s way.
Life is a dance and you can learn as you go. These classes will keep your body moving and put a smile on your face! So let's dance and have fun with your feet, one step at a time!

The Camden County Surrogate and the Freeholder Board’s Division of Senior & Disabled Services will hold a series of free legal workshops for senior and disabled residents throughout the month. The sessions will be held at the Camden County Store, located on the second level of the mall at Voorhees Town Center, Somerdale and Burnt Mill Roads, Voorhees.
Those who attend the session will have the opportunity to receive legal advice on a Last Will and Testament, an Advance Directive for Health Care also called a Living Will and a Power of Attorney. Anyone interested in attending one of the sessions must call the County Store at (856) 566-2920 to save their spot.
Participants are required to be Camden County residents aged 60 and over. Disabled citizens must be aged 18 and over and residents of Camden County. Workshops are limited to 35 participants per session and pre-registration is required. To register, please call (856) 566-2920.
Those attending this workshop receive, at no cost, a Last Will and Testament, an Advance Directive for Health Care (Living Will) and Power of Attorney. No other topics will be addressed by these workshops.
