Senior Recreation Calendar
The Camden County Board of Freeholders host and sponsor a variety of community activities throughout the year. We offer concerts, educational and recreation opportunities, Just for Seniors!
The Camden County Board of Freeholders presents: “Older Americans Month FREE Senior Dance” on May 27th at the Bellmawr Ballroom, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Join us for light refreshments, LIVE music and an evening of fun. To register, please call Michael at 856-216-2170. No alcoholic beverages permitted.

Whether you are an old pro interested in learning/trying for the 1st time, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Your day will include:
- (3) FREE rounds of bowling
- Complimentary shoe rental
- Open billiards rooms
- Complimentary coffee and doughnuts
- Instructional coaching for 1st timers
- A complimentary all beef hot dog, bag of chips and a soft-drink
There will be Playdrome Staff on hand to help you with instructions and any questions that you might have.

This class is designed to bring yoga to your day and is suitable for all experience levels. Classes are one hour long - 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the respective towns.

Come as you are and use some of your time to maintain your health and revitalize your body’s systems. Tai chi develops a union connecting body, mind and spirit - in essence it’s a whole body tune-up. Chairs are available and the class can be taken standing, sitting or a combination of both.
Classes are held at the Wayne R. Bryant Community Center, 323 Charleston Avenue, Lawnside, NJ 08045.

The Camden County Surrogate and the Freeholder Board’s Division of Senior & Disabled Services will hold a series of free legal workshops for senior and disabled residents throughout the month. The sessions will be held at the Camden County Store, located on the second level of the mall at Voorhees Town Center, Somerdale and Burnt Mill Roads, Voorhees.
Those who attend the session will have the opportunity to receive legal advice on a Last Will and Testament, an Advance Directive for Health Care also called a Living Will and a Power of Attorney. Anyone interested in attending one of the sessions must call the County Store at (856) 566-2920 to save their spot.
Participants are required to be Camden County residents aged 60 and over. Disabled citizens must be aged 18 and over and residents of Camden County. Workshops are limited to 35 participants per session and pre-registration is required. To register, please call (856) 566-2920.
Those attending this workshop receive, at no cost, a Last Will and Testament, an Advance Directive for Health Care (Living Will) and Power of Attorney. No other topics will be addressed by these workshops.
