Nutrition Vouchers Available for Senior Citizens-"Seasonal Availability Only"
Nutrition Vouchers Available for Senior Citizensfor Jersey Fresh Produce at Farmer’s Markets
Farmer’s Market Nutrition Vouchers for New Jersey fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs are available to Senior Citizens from the Camden County Division of Senior and Disabled Services, 700 W. Browning Road, Collingswood NJ.
“This is a great opportunity for senior citizens to incorporate the fresh fruits and vegetables of the season into their diets,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Division of Senior and Disabled Services. “Farmer’s markets are a great source for nutritious and locally grown produce that promote a healthy lifestyle.”
Eligible seniors will receive a $20 voucher. To qualify, recipients must be Camden County residents, 60 years of age and older, with an annual income not exceeding $20,036 (or $26,955 for a couple). Applicants must provide proof of income and residency.
