Our Personal Health Division is spearheading a regional effort to prevent lead poisoning in children 6 years of age and under in the Southern Region. A 12-month long calendar of events is scheduled where fun, interactive educational fairs are held for children and parents. For more information, please call our Public Health Nurse Coordinator at (856) 374-6140.

  • Parent to Parent: This is a group of parents who have been through drug addiction with their own children. They offer confidential assistance, advocacy to access treatment, community education, information on resources, parent support groups, and substance abuse treatment referrals. They also provide educational information to school staff and PTA’s and PTO’s. Please reach our Camden County Parent to Parent Coordinator at (856) 225-5071.

  • Public Health Preparedness: Through our Public Health Office we are conducting seminars throughout the County to educate residents about the threat of bioterrorism and public health emergencies.
