“We are delighted to be able to continue
providing free flu shots through February in order to help protect
the health of Camden County residents for the remainder of this
flu season,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, the seven-member
governing body’s liaison to the Camden County Department of
Heath and Human Services.
“We don’t want any of our flu vaccine
to go unused. The flu season runs through March and April and we
want get this vaccine out to the community,” Rodriguez added.
The flu shots will be given at the Bellmawr Regional
Health Center, 21 E. Browning Road in Bellmawr on Mondays and Tuesdays
from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM.
Flu shots will also be offered at the East Camden Regional Health
Center, 2631 Federal Street in Camden on Thursdays from 9:00 AM
until 11:00 AM.
Flu shots will be offered at both locations by appointment
only through February.
For appointments, call the Bellmawr Regional Health
Center at 856-931-2700 or the East Camden Regional Health Center

“We strongly recommend that residents in the
‘high priority’ groups – people age 65 or older,
the chronically ill and pregnant women -- get their shots,”
continued Freeholder Rodriguez. “Anyone receiving Medicare
must bring their Medicare ID card. Also, children 10 to 18 must
be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and children under nine
