Grand Opening of the Campbell Soup Employee Center
Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. attended the Grand Opening Celebration of the Campbell Soup Employee Center on June 10, 2010. “Thank you to Campbell's Soup for your commitment to Camden City, Camden County and to your employees. By investing and redeveloping here, you are telling the rest of the world that Camden City and Camden County are great places to conduct business, live and work. This project would not have come to fruition without the hard work and cooperation of Campbell's, the State of New Jersey, Camden County and the City of Camden. On behalf of the Board of Freeholders, I express our appreciation to everyone who helped this project become a reality in such a timely fashion,” said Freeholder Cappelli. The 80,0000-square foot addition to the company’s World Headquarters is part of a broader effort that includes plans for a 100-acre office park in Camden's Gateway District. The Campbell Soup Company has called Camden home since 1869.
