Only certain areas of Camden County are eligible. Qualifications for income vary according to family size & location of property to be purchased. Loans may be used to buy, improve or rehabilitate rural homes. Applications are available from real estate brokers. Section 8 - Section 8 Housing assistance subsidizes a portion of monthly rent for individuals or families with low incomes. Income limits are determined by family size & geographic area. Program participants pay no more than 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent & utilities.
