Formerly Home Economics, Family and Consumer Sciences offers educational programs and consumer information in the areas of Food, Nutrition and Health, Resource Management (emphasizing personal financial management for improved family living), and Human Development (with emphasis in child care). Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
Part of the Family and Consumer Sciences Department, this program's overall mission is to improve the health and welfare of limited-resource families with young children. EFNEP helps families in Camden City develop nutritionally sound diets by acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes to make the necessary behavioral changes.
