Media Releases:

Communications with the news media are coordinated through the Public/Governmental Relations Officer. Responsibilities include the collection of information and data, composing and distributing press releases and media advisories, and responding to media inquiries. The Public/Governmental Relations Officer arranges press conferences and coordinates crime scene media briefings. This person also represents the Prosecutor's Office at various community meetings. In general, the Public/Government Relations Officer is the Prosecutor's liaison with the media and public.

The Public/Governmental Relations Officer serves as an advisor to the Prosecutor on public relations, policy and administrative issues, and acts as a liaison to federal, state, county and municipal representatives, departments and agencies.
