man was shot to death last night on the street in Camden, N.J.
Camden
Police responded to the 400 block of West Street at 10:50 p.m. on
Tuesday night, May 9, 2006, for a report of a man shot. Raheem Seddens
had been shot multiple times and had collapsed. He was transported
to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead minutes
later.
Preliminary

block of Stevens Street, near the intersection with West Street.
He exchanged words with the suspect, an African-American male who
was speaking with another man a short distance down the block. A
short time later, the suspect walked toward the victim. As Seddens
began to speak to the suspect, the suspect pulled a handgun and
fired at the victim. Seddens ran down West Street and collapsed.
The
suspect is described as an African-American male in his early 20s,
approximately 6 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes, wearing
a red jacket and red hat.
