Acting Camden County Prosecutor James P. Lynch and Camden Police Executive Robert L. Stewart reported today that detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 64-year-old man whose body was found last night in his home in Camden, N.J.

The body of Walter Boyd was found at approximately 8 p.m. last night in his home in the 500 block of Line Street. He had suffered apparent trauma to his head. The cause of death has not been determined. An autopsy is scheduled for later today.

Camden Police responded to the victim’s home last night after neighbors became concerned because they had not seen Boyd since the weekend. The victim was found on the first floor of the home. There was evidence of forced entry.
