The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Berlin Borough Police are investigating an incident that took place on Sunday, March 19, 2006. The victim reports being followed while driving south on Route 42/Atlantic City Expressway south at 1:30 a.m. The suspect vehicle is described as a white two-door Pontiac, late 1990s vintage, driven by a black male in his early 20s and also occupied by a white male passenger believed to be approximately the same age. After the Pontiac followed the victim's vehicle for several miles, both vehicles stopped at the intersection of Westbury Drive and Watsontown-New Freedom Road in Berlin Borough. The victim exited his vehicle and approached the white Pontiac. The unidentified driver, without exiting his vehicle, shot the victim from the car.
