Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi announced that a man
faces up to life in prison after a jury found him guilty today of
Murder in an April 2003 fatal shooting in Camden, N.J.
Jurors also found the defendant, Lance L. Bean,
23, guilty of weapons offenses in connection with the shooting death
of Donald Sanders, 29, of Clementon, on the night of April 16, 2003,
in the 1300 block of Lakeshore Drive. Superior Court Judge John
T. McNeill III is scheduled to sentence Bean on March 17, 2006.
Bean

that Bean shot Sanders because he believed the victim was attempting
to sell narcotics on the Lakeshore Drive drug set Bean controlled.
Sanders died from numerous gunshot wounds from two different guns.
Sarubbi commended Cogan, the Homicide Units of the Prosecutor's

Investigations Unit in the Prosecutor's Office, for the successful
