Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi and Camden Police Chief
Edwin J. Figueroa reported today that a man was shot and killed last
night in Camden, N.J.
Camden Police responded to a report of shots fired at 9:32 p.m. last
night, Friday, April 8, 2005, and arrived at 4th and Chestnut streets
to find a man lying in the street. He was later identified as Marcus
Williams, 32, of Deptford. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the
torso and was dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made. The investigation continues by the Camden
County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden Police. Anyone with information
