Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi and Acting Camden Police Chief Edwin J. Figueroa reported that a 22-year-old man was shot to death early today in the 1000 block Princess Avenue in Camden, N.J.

Dwayne L. Edwards, of the 600 block of Henry Street in Camden, was shot multiple times in the upper body shortly before 12:30 a.m. today while standing in front of a Princess Avenue home. He was pronounced dead at 12:33 a.m. at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

The investigation indicates that a lone gunman approached on foot, fired multiple shots at the victim, and fled the area on foot. No arrests have been made.
