Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi and Acting Camden Police
Chief Edwin J. Figueroa announced today that the family of Walter
Lee Garnett, M/34, has posted a $1,000 reward for information leading
to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible
for his death on Feb. 14, 2004.
Garnett suffered multiple gunshot wounds at approximately 1:23 a.m.
at Haddon and Kaighn avenues in Camden, N.J. He was pronounced dead
at approximately 1:38 a.m. at Cooper University Hospital. Garnett,
of Foster Avenue in Sharon Hill, Pa., had been living with a friend
in Camden for approximately two weeks when he was killed.
