Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi announced today that
a Grand Jury this week indicted three men on charges stemming from
unrelated homicides in the City of Camden.
Indicted on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, were:

Tri Thach, M/29, charged with Murder, Conspiracy, Hindering Prosecution
and weapons offenses in the Oct. 9, 1999, shooting death of Nham
Le, M/24, at the Saigon Video Store in the 3400 block of Westfield
Avenue. Thach was arrested June 14, 2003, in Tacoma, Wash. He
faces up to life in prison. Thach is being held in lieu of $1
million bail, cash or bond.

Agron, M/22, charged with Murder in the shooting death of Alex
Castellar, M/24, on Jan. 3, 2003. The victim, of the Northgate
Apartments in Camden, was fatally shot at 8th and York streets.
Agron, of the 900 block of North 6th Street in Camden, is also
charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, weapons offenses
and single counts of Leaving a Disabled Victim at the Scene and
Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution. He faces up to life in
prison if convicted. Agron is being held in lieu of $350,000 bail,
cash or bond.
- Anthony
Parker, M/20, charged with Aggravated Manslaughter in the beating
death of Jesus Caban, M/47, near Louis and Sycamore streets on
Dec. 27, 2000. The investigation indicates Caban, of the 1100
block of Kenwood Avenue in Camden, was beaten as a result of a
dispute over money. Parker faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
He is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail, cash or bond.
All
three defendants are at the Camden County Correctional Facility
in Camden. No court dates have been scheduled at this time.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent
unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
