Camden County Prosecutor Vincent P. Sarubbi and Camden Police Acting
Chief Edwin Figueroa report that today at 5:50 a.m., Camden Police
responded to a report of gunshots in the 700 block of Division Street.
Upon arrival, police located David Rose, M/48 of the 300 block North
Broad Street, Philadelphia, on the steps of a home in the 700 block
of Division Street with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Medics rushed
the victim to Cooper Medical Center where he died from his injury
and was pronounced dead at 7:23 a.m. by Dr. Eakins. Dr. Ian Hood
of the Camden County Medical Examination Office ruled the cause
of death as gunshot wound to the abdomen and manner of death as
homicide.
The matter is currently under investigation and no arrests have
been made or suspects identified.
