Pooch Park :

Open daily from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Pooch Park is located in Cooper River Park at the far easterly end of North Park Drive, in Cherry Hill. From Rt. 70 in Pennsauken, take the Cuthbert Boulevard South Jughandle. Turn left at the first light at the corner of North Park Drive and Cuthbert Boulevard. North Park Drive ends at the dog park parking lot.

Camden County's leash free pooch park currently features:

  • 2 vinyl coated chain link enclosed dog runs with double gated entry - 1 run for dogs under 30 lbs. and 1 run for dogs over 30 lbs.
  • water fountain with dog bowl - (Works only in the spring, summer and fall, bring water in the winter.)
  • signage - rules
  • disposal bag dispensers
  • parking lot
  • bench seating
  • lighting

Rules

  • All dogs must be on leash in the parking lot, and on the way in and out of the park.
  • Owners must carry a leash at all times.
  • You must remain in the park and monitor your dog at all times. If your dog plays inappropriately, interrupt it. If your dog becomes aggressive, remove it from the park immediately.
  • If your dog eliminates, you must scoop the poop. If your dog digs, it must be interrupted and the hole filled in by you.
  • Only children over the age of 12 are permitted in the park.
  • Dogs in heat, ill, and/or dogs with internal or external parasites (fleas, ticks, worms) and dog or people aggressive dogs are not allowed in the park.
  • All dogs must have current rabies shots and all other vaccines as required by State of New Jersey law, and must have a valid municipal dog license displayed in ready view. Proof of current vaccination must be provided to police officers upon request.
  • Keep the park entry gates closed at all times.
  • Puppies must be older than 4 months.
  • No more than three dogs per person are permitted in the park.
  • Prior to entering the park, inquire about the dogs already in the run. Observe your dog's body language and remove pinch (prong) and spike collars.
  • Do not bring food or rawhide into the park.
  • In fairness to our neighbors, discourage dogs from barking excessively.
  • Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs.
  • Violators are subject to removal from the park by the Camden County Park Police.

This Pooch Park is for everyone.
