The
Camden County Golf Academy:
The Camden County Golf Academy (formerly the Cooper River Driving
Range), will be a state-of-the-art golf center when it re-opens this
spring. Now undergoing major renovations, the improved venue will
feature an aquatic, lighted, 60 station double-decker driving range
with a real grass tee and a top quality short game area with a putting
green sand trap. This will allow golfers to practice every shot in
the bag. The
Golf Academy will open under new management. Rutgers University,
Camden is teaming with the Camden County Parks Department to revitalize
this landmark facility. Rutgers University, Camden Head Golf Coach,
Bob Cardea (13th year) will be the General Manager. Bob is the former
managing partner of Somerton Springs South Jersey Golf Campus, a
5 time nationally recognized golf facility. In addition to being
a fully certified and nationally recognized golf instructor, Bob
has been the site director for numerous national organizations,
competitions and programs including the LPGA Girls Golf Program,
Re/Max Skill Challenge, and Long Drivers of America (LDA), as seen
on ESPN.

The CCGA is conveniently located at intersection of Route 130 South
and North Park Drive in Pennsauken, just minutes from Collingswood,
Audubon, Haddonfield, Haddon Heights, Cherry Hill, Oaklyn and Merchantville.

Rates – Monday – Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm - $1.00
