The Camden County Clerk’s Office is proud to be a full service Passport Acceptance Agent. We can help you with all of your Passport needs, including first-time applications, renewals, amendments, and photos.

The Clerk’s Office offers four easily accessible locations, two of which are open extended hours and Saturdays, plus the convenience of credit card payment.

In the spring of 2008, the US Department of State began issuing a US Passport Card in addition to the traditional Passport Book. The wallet-size passport card is convenient and less expensive than the passport book. However, the U.S. Passport Card cannot be used for international air travel. This new travel document can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry.

A current or previous passport book holder, who is eligible to use Form DS-82 , may apply for a passport card as a renewal by mail. First time applicants for a U.S. Passport, and those not eligible to use Form DS-82, must apply for a passport card in person using Form DS-11.

To Apply:

All applicants must appear in person and present: Original Birth Certificate & Identification (such as a valid Drivers License).

Applicants ages 16 and 17 must apply with one biological parent – Long Form Birth Certificate required.

For applicants under age 16 both biological parents must apply - Long Form Birth Certificate required.

Allow four to six weeks (less than four weeks requires an expedite fee of $60.00).

Passport Book Application Fees:
16 & over - $75.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $100.00
Under 16 - $60.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $85.00


Passport Book Renewal Fee:
$75.00 (in person or by mail)
(Previous passport issued within the last 15 years in your current name and at least 16 at time off issue)

Passport Card Application Fees:
16 & over - $20.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $45.00
Under 16 - $10.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $35.00


Both Passport Book & Card Application Fees:
16 & over - $95.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $120.00
Under 16 - $70.00 + $25.00 execution fee = $95.00

Fees may be payable in cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
