- Services
provided to TANF families include temporary shelter, security
deposits, and utility assistance. Other housing issues are also
addressed.
- Emergency
Assistance: Evaluates the needs and eligibility of Families receiving
TANF for receipt of emergency assistance (EA). Emergency Assistance
Services may provide temporary shelter, secuity deposits, utility
assistance and address othe housing issues with Families who receive
TANF and/or SSI.
- Information
and Referral: Families
who may not be eligible for monetary assistance with housing concerns
will be given information and referral for other resources that
might be available to assist.
- Meets
the federal and state outreach guidelines for EPSDT and Family
Planning Programs. (mailings only)
- Informs
clients with children under 21 years of age about Medicaid managed
care benefits and the need for ongoing medical care. (mailings
only)
