Notary Public

A Notary Public is appointed (commissioned) by the State Treasurer for a five year period, and is sworn into office by the Clerk of the county in which the Notary Public resides. U.S. citizens, 18 years or older, desiring to become a Notary Public may obtain an application at the County Clerk's Office. All Camden County Notaries are required to be commissioned and file an oath of office with the County Clerk's Office.

The fees are as follows:(only certified checks, credit card, money orders or cash are accepted)

  • Swearing in newly commissioned Notaries ($15.00)
  • Notary Public Commission Certificate ($15.00)
  • Issuing Notary Public Certificates ($5.00)
  • Notarizing Documents - $2.50 Per Document. Requires identification (valid drivers license preferred)
