Freeholders Hosting Spring Job Fair April 26

Camden, NJ) – The Freeholder Board will host the Camden County Spring Job Fair on April 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the BB&T Pavilion, located at 1 Harbor Boulevard in Camden. 

“Whether you are unemployed, underemployed or are looking for a change of careers, we encourage you to attend the Camden County Spring Job Fair,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “When come to the job fair, be sure to dress for success and bring plenty of copies of your resume as you will have a chance to meet directly with employers with current job opportunities.”

The annual event attracts thousands of prospective employees and features over 100 employers offering positions in a wide variety of fields.

“Businesses have invested more than $2.5 billion in Camden County, and having local employees strengthens companies and supports our communities,” Cappelli said. “This job fair is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to our local ready and willing workforce. The Freeholder Board hosts job fairs throughout the year to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers.”

The Spring Job Fair is being held in cooperation with the Camden County One-Stop Resource Center, which will provide on-site advice on resume writing and the job search.  The Resource Center also provides access to services like employment, training and education programs.

“We encourage anyone in the job-hunting process to take advantage of this free event,” Cappelli said. “We hope this event will mark the start of your new career.”
