Reverend Evers Park Beautification Day

Join us on Saturday, May 12th from 9 AM to 1 PM at Reverend Evers Park, opposite the Creative Arts Morgan Village Academy in Camden, NJ. We will be planting trees, mulching, and doing litter cleanup. We are establishing a native buffer along Newton Creek and taking care of trees and a vegetated swale we installed last year, to help improve water quality and habitat while beautifying the park.

Dress in layers based on the weather. Make sure to wear long pants and old shoes/sneakers or work boots. We’ll hold the event rain or shine and we will provide gloves and tools. Snacks, water, and lunch will be provided. For more information, please email Fred Stine at fred@delawareriverkeeper.org. Please register by May 9th (but drop-ins are welcome).

Thank you to our sponsors: Wakefern Food Corp./Ravitz Family Markets (PriceRite & ShopRite), Delaware Riverkeeper Network, Morgan Village Circle CDC, and Newton Creek Watershed Association. Funding generously provided by the PriceRite.
