Refugees and Migration Lecture Series at CCC

Camden County College is pleased to offer a FREE five-lecture series on Refugees and Migration starting September 11 through October 30. The lecture series is co-sponsored by the American Research Institute in Turkey, the University of Pennsylvania Middle East Center, and hosted by The Center @ Camden County College. October 30 – Fleeing Inquisition: European Refugees in 18th Century Istanbul.
Professor Küçük examines how scholars, craftsmen, and prisoners of war integrated themselves into urban life in Istanbul during the time of the Ottoman Empire. Harun Küçük, Assistant Professor, History and Sociology of Science, University of Pennsylvania.
