National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

In 2017, the CDC estimated over 65,000 people lost their lives to opiate abuse.

The Camden County Board of Freeholders and the Addiction Awareness Taskforce present National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Turn in your unused or expired prescription medication for safe disposal. Communities are taking initiatives to reduce the number of prescription drugs available for misuse. By participating in and utilizing medication drop boxes, residents reduce the availability for drugs. This not only helps to make our homes safe, but also protects others from harm.

On National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, please remove your unwanted medications and deposit them at a police station equipped with a medication drop box. For a comprehensive list of local drop-off points, go to: addictions.camdencounty.com/resources/rx-drop-off/

Help keep our neighborhoods safe!
