National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Turn in your unused or expired prescription medicine for safe disposal on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This year it is estimated by the CDC that nearly 65,000 people across the United States could lose their lives to opiate drugs. Communities are taking initiatives to reduce the number of prescription drugs available for misuse. By participation in and utilizing medication drop boxes, residents reduce the availability of drugs. This not only helps make our homes safe, but also protects others from harm.

This event is presented by the Camden County Board of Freeholders and the Addiction Awareness Taskforce. It will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10AM to 2PM.
