Camden County College is excited to host their lecture series “Middle East – New Perspectives” at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays in Civic Hall.

Week 4: ISIS in Iraq, Presented by Mohammed Saleh

Mohammed A. Saleh is a doctoral student at the Annenburg School for Communication. He is primarily interested in extremist movements in the Middle East, and also the intersection of media, politics, and culture in that region.  Prior to joining Annenberg, Saleh worked for a number of years as a freelance journalist covering the Islamic State conflict as well as reporting on Kurdish and Iraqi affairs for international news outlets such as Inter Press Service (IPS), Al Jazeera English, Al-Monitor, Foreign Policy, Christian Science Monitor, FRANCE24, and Newsweek Middle East.

He has also published analytical pieces with Middle East Institute and The Washington Institute for Near East Policy on local positions of Iraqi Kurdistan.
