Cooper River Cyclocross (CRCX)

Cyclocross is a fall/winter cycling discipline that takes place mostly on grass using a 1.5 to 2 mile course. There are lots of technical sections with obstacles forcing some riders to dismount, carry their bike over barriers and up stairs, then remount as quickly as possible. Conditions may vary depending the weather. There are a full range of categories including, beginners, masters and professional riders for both men & women. The multi-lap races are timed from, 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the category. The course is completely viewable from the west end of Park Boulevard which is great for spectating. Local vendors, including food trucks will be present. A children’s race will also take place around 12:00 so bring the whole family. A USA-Cycling license is required to participate. This is a rain or shine event. https://www.facebook.com/CooperriverCX or 215.651.0455
