Autism Awareness Lectures

Join The Center at Camden County College for a series of Autism Awareness Lectures held on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 8 PM.

This week’s topic is “The Challenges of Adolescence for Females with ASD” led by Rory Panter. Dr. Panter will be addressing the unique challenges females on the ASD face approaching adolescence. Females with ASD may experience the challenges of approaching adolescence win a unique way compared to their neurotypical peers. Parents may find themselves “caught off guard” when their daughter experiences her first menstrual cycle or when they find out that she is being teased in the locker room. This workshop will provide guidance by using evidence based practices to help achieve their personal goals.
