1969: The Year that Changed America

Join The Center at Camden County College for the lecture series “1968: The Year that Changed America” on Wednesdays at 7 PM in Civiv Hall. 

This week’s topic is “The Rise of the New Feminism” led by Vanessa May from Seton Hall University. 1968 marked a significant year in the Second Wave of the Feminist Movement. Vanessa will trace the evolution of the Movement in the 1960’s, culminating with the actions at the Democratic Convention in Atlantic City. She will discuss the leaders of the movement and the public reaction to efforts to promote gender equality.
