Dear Veteran,

On behalf of the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs, it is my humble honor to invite you to participate in a special project designed to honor your meritorious service to the United States of America.

Like every citizen of Camden County, the Freeholder Board appreciates your service to our great nation, and the enormous sacrifices you made to ensure the freedom of future generations.

In recognition of your efforts, we would like to request that you take part in the Camden County All Wars Video Project. This project consists of a video interview about your experiences and memories during your military service, and about subsequent life events after serving.

Both of my late grandfathers served in the U.S. Army during World War II and I wish we could have preserved their memories of fighting fascism and saving the world from despotism. Your words and thoughts on the accomplishments of the U.S. Military during the war are assets for all Americans and need to be maintained for generations to come.

This video interview can be conducted either in your home, at the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs, or at any site that is convenient to you and your family; this is entirely up to you. To make this as easy as possible for you, we will inform you in advance about how the brief interview will be conducted, and we will also mail you a copy of the questions that you will be asked during your interview.

I do hope you will consider participating in this project that will allow us to preserve your story for generations to come. If you are interested in participating, please call (856) 374-5160.

On behalf of a grateful nation, thank you for your service to our country.

Sincerely,

William F. Moen, Jr.
