Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce After-Business Event at Boathouse Scores Great Success
More than 120 business owners and representatives gathered at the Camden County Boathouse on Thursday evening, August 4th for The Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Business after Business Networking event.
Camden County Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell was on hand to welcome the business community to the facility and highlight the amenities for businesses looking for a great location to hold meetings or events. With the sensational views of the Cooper River and the Philadelphia skyline as backdrop, Freeholder McDonnell spoke about the versatility and uniqueness of the venue, from the River and surrounding park itself, to the ballroom with a wrap-around veranda, the Boardroom for smaller meetings and the Master’s Room, perfect for meetings of groups up to 50, both with smart-room technology built in for easy presentations and training classes.
Freeholder McDonnell also stressed that the county has a variety of services geared to help businesses recruit and train employees and help them grow. Representatives from economic development and business services were on hand to provide more information on programs.
