Women's Health Conference

The 11th Annual Camden County Women’s Health Conference will be held on Saturday, September 25 at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees.  The popular free conference, which attracts a couple of thousand women each year, will feature a keynote speaker, breakout classes on topics from cancer prevention to belly dancing, a wide variety of vendors and a continental breakfast and box lunch.

“I encourage all women in Camden County to save this date and take advantage of this special opportunity,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison the Department of Health and Human Services.  “Each year the Women’s Health Conference offers a greater variety of important and interesting health topics for women of all ages.”

The free conference, sponsored by the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services, works each year to raise awareness on women’s health and wellness issues in a fun, relaxing day for participants.

At previous conferences, over 2,000 women participated in workshops and seminars covering a broad spectrum of issues, ranging from cancer detection and treatment to maintaining good health through exercise and diet.   Other workshops focused on emotional and mental health.

In the coming months, look for more exciting information on the keynote speaker, new breakout groups and classes on topics like beauty, pregnancy and finding the right mate, and prizes and giveaways.
