Freeholder Edward T. McDonnell Elected to State Commission on Higher Education

Camden County Freeholder Deputy Director Edward T. McDonnell
has been elected by the Commission members to the Executive Committee of the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education. Freeholder McDonnell has served on the Commission since 2008 when he was appointed by former Governor Jon S. Corzine.
 
“I am honored to serve on this group, and to represent Camden County,” said Freeholder McDonnell.
 
Known for his dedication to education, Freeholder McDonnell is the Vice President of Economic Development at Camden County College, responsible for all economic development program offerings, including corporate training.  He is also Executive Dean of the college's Cherry Hill campus.  He is a 20 year employee of Camden County College
 
The New Jersey Commission on Higher Education was established in 1994 to coordinate, plan, develop policy and advocate for the state’s higher education system.  The group is also responsible for institutional licensure and the administration of the Educational Opportunity Fund and other programs.
