Camden County Offices Closed on February 9th
(February 8, 2017) - Based upon the most recent weather forecast, officials have closed all Camden County offices and facilities tomorrow, February 9, 2017. This closure applies to all Camden County parks, including the Winterfest Ice Skating Rink at Cooper River Park.
“This storm has the potential to deliver between 5 and 9 inches of snow to our area. If you don’t have to travel tomorrow, please stay off the roads to give our crews the ability to effectively do their job. Anyone on the roadways during the storm should be prepared to encounter slick road conditions. Always leave at least six car lengths behind our DPW vehicles while they work, and move any cars off the street and into a driveway while we continue our plowing operations,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Remember that it is illegal in New Jersey to plow or shovel snow from private property into roadways.”
Continue to check www.camdencounty.com throughout the storm for closure updates. Information will also be provided through Facebook and Twitter.
