Camden County Honors ‘Best of Class of 2010’
More than 200senior students who attend public and non-public high schools throughout Camden County were honored as the “Best of Class of 2010” during an awards dinner presented by the Freeholder Board Wednesday evening. This was the12th year the County has presented the “Best of Class” awards, which honor students in 5 categories: Community Service, Leadership, Most Improved, Most Courageous and Best Overall Student.
The students are “unsung heroes” chosen by their schools for taking pride in academic achievement and striving to do their best to improve themselves while helping others in the process. They were presented with plaques and certificates by the Freeholder Board along with the County Clerk, Sheriff and Surrogate. They were be accompanied by parents, friends and school administrators. Over 600 people attended the event at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin.
