Apply for Passports Before Federal Fees Increase July 13

Camden County Clerk Joseph Ripa urges county residents who are planning to visit another country this year to apply for their passports before higher federal fees take effect on July 13.

"Anyone planning to travel in the near future should visit our offices in the Cherry Hill Mall, Voorhees Town Center, South County Regional Library in Winslow or Camden City Hall to take advantage of the current federal passport fees before the increase goes into effect on July 13," said Ripa.  “Passport fee increases are being made by the State Department, and are not the result of any increase in County Clerk’s fees."

An adult routine passport will increase from $75 to $110 and a child's passport will increase from $60 to $80.  Renewal fees will also increase to $110.

Passport application forms are available from the Clerk’s Office or at www.camdencounty.com.  For more information on obtaining a U.S. Passport, please contact the Camden County Clerk at (856) 225-5300.
