(Camden, NJ) – The Camden County Police Department has been selected as one of 12 winning police departments from around the country in the U.S. Department of Justice COPS Office’s 5th annual Community Policing in Action photo contest.

The Camden County Police Department’s winning photo features Officer Lissandra Sime with a young brother and sister in their Halloween costumes enjoying our annual Masquerade With Metro, held on Oct. 26, 2018, in Yorkship Square. The event itself is one of many such events held by the department regularly that are designed to bring officers and families together for fun and to help officers build relationships in the community. Such events are just part of the Camden County Police Department’s continuing commitment to community policing.

The Camden County Police Department photo will be featured on COPS Office publications and social media platforms throughout the year. To see all 12 winning photos in the 2019 contest, go to: https://cops.usdoj.gov/photocontest
