Committees
STANDING COMMITTEES: The Board
shall have permanent Standing Committees with Chairpersons appointed
by the Chair. These Committees shall be:
FINANCE COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be to develop and oversee the
WIB budgets, and review proposals for funding.
LITERACY COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be to facilitate the development
of the literacy plan and oversee the implementation of the programs
and services.
YOUTH COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be the development of a comprehensive
strategy for youth services, to make recommendations for the funds
allocated for youth services and oversee the performance of youth
funding.
OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be the implementation and coordination
of the day-to-day operations of the one stop system.
SYSTEMS PERFORMANCE COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be the development of the standards
and criteria for one stop partners, programs and vendors, along
with customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Will provide
for the fiscal planning and management for the one stop system.
CAMDEN CITY INITIATIVES COMMITTEE
Whose mission shall be to promote and assist in
the design and development of workforce programs that increases
the skill development and knowledge of Camden City residents which
in turn facilitates them on the path to self-sufficiency.
