Description:
Woodcrest Station is PATCO's direct connection to South Jersey's regional
highway network, with its own I-295 interchange (Exit 31). Towers Perrin
recently moved 1,000 employees into a redeveloped and redesigned former
warehouse just east of the station, which is now a modern, 375,000 square
foot, Class A corporate office center. Redevelopment opportunities still
exist in Cherry Hill, but the greatest redevelopment opportunities are in
adjacent Lawnside. Lawnside's redevelopment plan calls for new medical,
commercial and residential uses along Oak Avenue, within easy walking distance
of the station. This transit village has great potential to become a regional
employment and transportation center. Center City Philadelphia is only 23
minutes away from this station, which is equidistant from nearby Tavistock
and Woodcrest country clubs.
