Description:
This underutilized shopping center has been a victim of both poor site layout and national chain bankruptcies. It is in a landscaped nook below Route 30, which makes it difficult to see from the highway. Despite these setbacks, the center hosts one of the more successful cineplexes in the County. Both municipalities are working with NJDOT to correct site access issues by repositioning and retiming traffic signals and redesigning turning movements. The property abuts the Somerdale Industrial Park to the south and a newly developing residential community in Lawnside opposite Evesham Road. Camden County has planned a greenway on the southeastern border of the site along the South Branch of the Cooper River. The center is within a short walk to PATCO's Ashland Station.
