Description:
This formerly active insulation plant now sits abandoned and nestled securely in the woods on the eastern end of Berlin Borough. After asbestos production ceased here in 1972, the factory operated for a few more years. The property now has been closed for more than a decade. Most of the Owens Corning site is wooded with development concentrated in the northern end, which is bordered by NJ Transit's Atlantic City Line.
